PM Modi thanked Bhutan for a memorable visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThank you Bhutan! It was a memorable visit. The affection I have received from the people of this wonderful nation can never be forgotten. There were many programmes which I had the honour of taking part in. The outcomes of the visit will enhance bilateral ties,\u201d Modi said.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also thanked the people and Government of Bhutan for the warm welcome and hospitality during this visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed the students at the Royal University and asked them to work hard and take the Himalayan nation to great heights.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There is no better time to be young than now,” PM Modi told the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we have challenges. But for every challenge, we have young minds to find innovative solutions to overcome them. Let no limitation constrain you. I want to tell you all- there is no better time to be young than now,\u201d PM Modi said.<\/span><\/p>\n

“As Bhutan soars high in its endeavours, your 1.3 billion Indian friends will not just look on and cheer you with pride and happiness. They will partner you, share with you and learn from you,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe world today offers more opportunities than ever before. You have the power and potential to do extra-ordinary things, which will impact generations to come. Find your real calling and pursue it with full passion,\u201d Modi added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recalling a Facebook post of Prime Minister Dr Tshering in which he mentioned about Exam Warriors \u2014 a book written by PM Modi to advise youngsters about how to face exams without stress, Modi said that post touched his heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCan I tell you something? Much of what I wrote in Exam Warriors is influenced by the teachings of Lord Buddha, especially the importance of positivity, overcoming fear and living in oneness, be it with the present moment or with Mother Nature,\u201d Modi said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Modi further said, \u201cBhutan has understood the spirit of harmony, togetherness and compassion. This very spirit radiated from the adorable children who lined the streets to welcome me yesterday. I will always remember their smiles.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Modi also paid his respects at the National Memorial Chorten, a revered monument honouring the late Third Druk Gyalpo.<\/span><\/p>\n
