There is now zero-tolerance policy against the menace in the state and the government will continue to maintain it,\u201d Shah added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Jammu and Kashmir has been under Governor&#8217;s Rule since the BJP ended alliance with Mehbooba Mufti&#8217;s People&#8217;s Democratic Party (PDP) in June last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This is the first proposal; Amit Shah has moved in the Lok Sabha after being appointed as a home minister.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday moved a statutory resolution in the Lok Sabha to extend President\u2019s Rule in Jammu and Kashmir for a period of six more months.
