The pilot jettisoned fuel tanks of the aircraft and managed to land it back safely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Small practice bombs jettisoned by the jet has also been recovered., sources said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Pilots are trained to jettison fuel tanks over open areas, sources added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">So far, no casualties were reported in the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter jet suffered a technical glitch on Thursday after one of its engines was hit by a bird.
