The NIA had demanded 15-day custodial interrogation of the trio in a case related to terror funding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the sources, Shah and Andrabi were already in custody in separate cases while Alam was brought from Jammu and Kashmir on a transit remand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In May 2017, the probe agency had filed an FIR against the separatists charging them for links with terror outfits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Andrabi was also alleged to have received funds from the Lakshar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief to continue stone pelting in Kashmir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The NIA had filed a charge sheet in 2018 against 12 persons including Hafiz Saeed\u00a0and\u00a0another terror mastermind Syed Salahuddin in connection with the terror funding case.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Delhi court on Tuesday sent separatists Masarat Alam, Asiya Andrabi and Shabir Shah to 10-day National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody in a terror funding case involving JuD chief Hafiz Saeed.
