Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh on Monday released the Bharatiya Janata Party\u2019s (BJP)s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections starting from April 11.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0“sankalp patra”\u00a0released by BJP promised to make India the third largest economy of the world by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c2014 to 2019 were golden years for India. First time after 30 years that a full majority government came,\u201d said BJP President Amit Shah.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In five years, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken 50 major decisions for the betterment of the country,” Amit Shah added.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe touched every section and region to discuss the details of the manifesto. A team was set up under me and 12 others to prepare the manifesto. This is a visionary and practical document,\u201d said Rajnath Singh.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis manifesto has been prepared with strong nationalist vision and it’s been after a detailed consultation by a committee headed by Rajnath Singh across the country. Therefore, it’s rooted in the Indian realities,\u201d said Arun Jaitley.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA new security doctrine makes India into one of the most powerful nations in the world where our deterrent is the best defence,\u201d Jaitley added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jaitley further added, \u201cWe are the first government in history which consolidated India’s middle class, and which brought out the fastest depletion of poverty.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an indication of PM Modi\u2019s diplomatic success that when Pakistan threatened to boycott Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting if India was invited then 56 out of 57 countries said let Pakistan not come, said Sushma Swaraj<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have set 75 well-defined resolutions in our manifesto that we can fulfil in a time-bound manner. We are moving forward with ‘one mission, one direction,\u201d said PM Modi.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo develop India, development has to be made into a mass movement, and a successful result of that is ‘swacchta’, today ‘swachhta’ is a mass movement.,\u201d Modi added.<\/span><\/p>\n

The manifesto reads following promises by the BJP<\/strong>:-<\/span><\/p>\n

We aspire to make India the third largest economy of the world by 2030. This implies that we commit to make India a US $5 trillion economy by 2025 and the US $10 trillion economy by 2032.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BJP in its manifesto promised to strengthen the strike capability of the armed forces by equipping them with modern equipment. Besides, the party will take effective steps to prevent illegal immigration in the North Eastern states.<\/span><\/p>\n

For all the farmers in the country, the BJP will implement PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The party ensure pension for small and marginal farmers after 60 years of age.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will provide short-term new agriculture loans up to Rs. 1 lakh at a 0% interest rate for 1-5 years on the condition of prompt repayment of the principal amount.<\/span><\/p>\n

The party said it will complete the Phase-1 of Bharatmala Project expeditiously and launch Bharatmala 2.0 to support the states to develop state road network.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will set up one Medical College or Post Graduate Medical College in every district, through public or private participation, by 2024. We will target provisioning of telemedicine and diagnostic laboratory facilities at Health and Wellness Centres by 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women’s welfare and development will be accorded a high priority at all levels within the government, and the BJP is committed to 33% reservation in parliament and state assemblies through a constitutional amendment.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will create new opportunities of employment by providing more support to the 22 major ‘Champion Sectors’ identified as the main drivers of the Indian economy. We will launch a new scheme to provide collateral-free credit up to \u20b950 lakh for entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will encourage academic institutions towards excellence and motivate more such institutions to rank among the top 500 institutions of the world. To cater to the demands of more schools like KVs, we aim to open another 200 such schools by 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will increase the coverage of Ayushman Bharat to include all Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers to ensure improved health and social support system. BJP is committed to 33% reservation in parliament & state assemblies through a constitutional amendment.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will expand the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan scheme to cover all small shopkeepers. We are committed to bringing down the percentage of families living below the poverty line to a single digit in the next five years.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will explore all possibilities within the framework of the Constitution and all necessary efforts to facilitate the expeditious construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. We reiterate our stand to draft a Uniform Civil Code.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that India\u2019s time has come. We are emerging as a power centre in a multi-polar world. The rise of a New India is a new reality, and we shall play a major role in shaping the global agenda in the 21st century.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
