{"id":311074,"date":"2019-04-07T06:30:38","date_gmt":"2019-04-07T06:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/?p=311074"},"modified":"2019-04-07T06:30:38","modified_gmt":"2019-04-07T06:30:38","slug":"income-tax-department-raid-homes-other-premises-of-madhya-pradesh-cm-kamal-naths-close-aides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/income-tax-department-raid-homes-other-premises-of-madhya-pradesh-cm-kamal-naths-close-aides\/","title":{"rendered":"Income Tax Department raid homes, other premises of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath\u2019s close aides"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-311075 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/kamal-nath-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2019\/04\/kamal-nath-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2019\/04\/kamal-nath.jpg 616w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 530px) 100vw, 530px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Income Tax (IT) department on Sunday morning conducted raids at the properties of close aides of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The raids were conducted at the homes of Nath&#8217;s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Praveen Kakkar in Indore and former advisor Rajendra Kumar Miglani in Delhi, sources said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The two were under the scanner of the IT sleuths in connection with an alleged hawala (illegal transaction) case, sources added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A team of over 15 income tax officers from Delhi reached the home of Kakkar in Indore at 3 am and started searching the premises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">They also raided a showroom in the same colony and some other properties were also searched.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The searches are currently underway at locations of MP Chief Minister&#8217;s OSD, Ratul Puri, Amira Group and Moser Baer.
