Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday slammed the Congress leader Sam Pitroda, a close aide of Rahul Gandhi, over his comments questioning the impact of the Balakot air strike.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe most trusted advisor and guide of the Congress President has kick-started the Pakistan National Day celebrations on behalf of the Congress, ironically by demeaning India\u2019s armed forces. Shame!\u201d Prime Minister Modi tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sam Pitroda, the Indian Overseas Congress chief, in a detailed interview to a news agency said that he does not know much about attacks as it happened all the time. He further said that attacked happened in Mumbai too, \u201cwe could have then reacted and just sent our planes but that is not right approach. According to me that\u2019s not how you deal with world,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

To which Modi reacted, \u201cLoyal courtier of Congress\u2019 royal dynasty admits what the nation already knew- Congress was unwilling to respond to forces of terror. This is a New India- we will answer terrorists in a language they understand and with interest!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on the figure in circulation of “300” terrorists being killed by the Indian Air Force (IAF) strikes on a terror camp in Balakot on February 26, Pitroda had said: “Give me more facts and prove it.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Pitroda questioned whether “blaming every citizen” of Pakistan was the right way to respond to attacks like Pulwama.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Eight people (26\/11 terrorists) come and do something, you don’t jump on the entire nation (Pakistan). Naive to assume that just because some people came here and attacked, every citizen of that nation is to be blamed. I don’t believe in that way,” said Pitroda.<\/span><\/p>\n

PM Modi said, \u201cOpposition insults our forces time and again. I appeal to my fellow Indians- question Opposition leaders on their statements. Tell them- 130 crore Indians will not forgive or forget the Opposition for their antics. India stands firmly with our forces.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

While talking about the statement made by senior leader Modi said, \u201cOpposition is the natural habitat of terror apologists and questioners of our armed forces. This reprehensible statement by a senior leader like Ram Gopal Ji insults all those who have given their lives in protecting Kashmir.
