It will happen well. I am 100 per cent confident (of the floor test),\u201d he had said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Sawant was sworn in as chief minister around 2 am on Tuesday, hours after his predecessor\u00a0and veteran BJP leader Manohar Parrikar was\u00a0cremated\u00a0with full state honours at Miramar beach in Panaji.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Besides chief minister, 11-member Cabinet was also sworn in, including his two deputies\u2013 Sudhin Dhavalikarof the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and Vijay Sardesai of the Goa Forward Party (GFP).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Goa government, led by newly appointed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will face a floor test in the state Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
