So far people have voted to choose a Prime Minister. But this time they will be voting for statehood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The chief minister further said the Centre spends only Rs 325 crore on the National Capital while Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh get Rs 26,000 crore and Rs 1.5 lakh crore, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Kejriwal also accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of hypocrisy by promising that it will grant full statehood to Delhi during the last election but then going back on the promise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He said because Delhi was not a full state and doesn&#8217;t have law and order under its ambit, crimes, especially against women, have increased. \u201cOnce we get statehood, we will ensure that women roam freely even at night,\u201d Kejriwal added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On alliance with the Congress.
