A total number of six candidates have been named in the first list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav will contest from Mainpuri Seat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Dharmendra Yadav will fight from Badaun, Senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav&#8217;s son Akshay Yadav will contest from Firozabad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The first list of six candidates of the SP also includes Kamlesh Katheria from Etahwah, Shabbir Valmiki from Behraich and Bhai Lal from Robertsganj.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">SP\u2019s decision to release its first list came after the Congress released its first list of candidates for 15 seats for Lok Sabha polls on Thursday that included four in Gujarat and 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh, naming UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi as the party\u2019s candidate from Rae Bareli and Rahul Gandhi from the Amethi seat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Samajwadi Party (SP) on Friday released its first list for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
