The decision was taken in a meeting of the Delhi Congress leaders with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cA unanimous decision was taken that there will be no alliance in Delhi,\u201d said Sheila Dikshit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This announcement puts end to the weeks of speculations of an alliance between Congress and AAP in Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Last month, Delhi chief minister\u00a0Arvind Kejriwal\u00a0said that they had tried to convince the Congress for an alliance, but their offer had been refused.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">AAP, last week declared candidates for six of Delhi&#8217;s seven Lok Sabha seats, giving up on the possibility of an alliance with the Congress.
