Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on March 1 and will unveil a series of development projects for Kanyakumari and Tamil Nadu. These projects will play a vital role in enhancing rail and road connectivity throughout Tamil Nadu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Railways\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Modi will launch various railways projects at Kanyakumari. These include-<\/span><\/p>\n

Flagging-off of Tejas Express between Madurai and Chennai\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Laying of Foundation stone for the Restoration of Rail connectivity between Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi<\/span><\/p>\n

Laying of foundation stone for the Restoration of Pamban Bridge (Bridge across Pamban viaduct)<\/span><\/p>\n

Road Transport\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Modi will also launch various road transport projects at Kanyakumari, through the unveiling of a plaque.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dedication to the Nation of:2\/4 Laning of Madurai- Ramanathapuram Section of NH-87\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The section covers three districts in Tamil Nadu namely Madurai, Sivanganga and Ramanathapuram\u00a0Flyovers at Marthandam junction and Parvathipuram junction of NH-47 in Kanyakumari district\u00a0Four Laning of Panagudi to Kanyakumari section of NH-44\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Laying of Foundation Stone of:\u00a0Four Laning of Madurai \u2013 Chettikulam Section of NH-785<\/span><\/p>\n

Four Laning of Chettikulam-Natham Section\u00a0of NH-785 Launch of Road Safety Park and Transport Museum in Kanyakumari<\/span><\/p>\n

These road infrastructure projects will strengthen the road connectivity in various regions in Tamil Nadu. It will ensure a safe and fast journey for travellers.<\/span><\/p>\n
