text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The United Nations Security Council has condemned the Pulwama attack by the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror group in which at least 40 CRPF soldiers were killed and underlined the need to hold perpetrators and sponsors of these \u201creprehensible acts&#8221; of terrorism accountable and bring them to justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in over 40 Indian paramilitary forces dead and dozens wounded on February 14, 2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility,&#8221; the UNSC press statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The 15-nation body includes China as a permanent veto-wielding member that has repeatedly tried to block India&#8217;s bids in the Security Council Sanctions committee to designate JeM chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The statement said that the UN Security Council condemned &#8220;in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in at least 40 Indian paramilitary forces dead and dozens wounded on February 14, 2019, for which Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThe UNSC reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security,\u201d the statement added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The UNSC member countries expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to Indian people and the Indian government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;
