However, the court said no coercive steps, including the arrest of Kumar would take place during the course of the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Senior BJP leader and Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad welcomed the order and said it is a setback to the Mamata Banerjee government and a victory for the CBI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Mamata Banerjee has been on dharna since Sunday after the CBI tried to question Kolkata\u2019s police commissioner Rajeev Kumar in connection with chit fund scams.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday described \u2018moral victory\u2019 for the CBI after the Supreme court order directing Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar to make himself available before the investigation agency.
