The mob violence which occurred last month in which a police officer Subodh Kumar was killed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Violence reportedly happened when a mob attacked the police alleging inaction over complaints of cow slaughter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Yogesh Raj was arrested only after the leader of his Bajrang Dal handed him over.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Raj is accused of inciting mob violence in December after the discovery of cow carcasses from a forest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The development came a month after the incident took place in Bulandshahr. The police were on the lookout for Raj, who was on the run for about a month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Sumit Kumar, a civilian also lost his life during the violence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The police had earlier arrested Kalua, who allegedly attacked inspector Subodh Kumar with an axe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As per the reports, the police also reportedly recovered an axe from him.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The main accused in the Bulandshahr violence Yogesh Raj, was arrested by police.
