However, the court acquitted Sharif in another case, the Flagship Investments corruption case in the Panama Papers scandal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Nawaz Sharif was sentenced in July to 10 years in prison on charges related to the purchase of upscale apartments in London, after the Supreme Court removed him from power.
