Its foundation stone was laid by former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda in 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The bridge will connect the south bank of the Brahmaputra river in Dibrugarh district of Assam with Silapathar in Dhemaji district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Prime Minister Modi will also flag off the train after inaugurating the Bogibeel bridge on December 25, the birth anniversary of late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and observed as the \u2018Good Governance Day\u2019 by the Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bogibeel bridge, India\u2019s longest rail-cum-road bridge will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 25.
