I propose the name of Rahul Gandhi from Tamil Nadu. He has got the ability to defeat the fascist Modi government.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Stalin urged all political parties to join forces to defeat the Modi government and to support Gandhi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Stalin further said that the Modi\u2019s regime had halted India&#8217;s growth and had taken it 15 years back. &#8220;In the last five years of Prime minister Modi&#8217;s rule, the country has gone 15 years behind. If we give another chance to him, surely the country will go 50 years back. Prime Minister Modi is behaving like a king, that is why we have all come together to safeguard democracy and country,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Stalin was addressing a gathering after the event of unveiling a life-size statue of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) patriarch M Karunanidhi at party\u2019s headquarters which was attended by\u00a0Congress\u00a0president\u00a0Rahul Gandhi, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi along with Andhra Pradesh\u00a0Chief\u00a0Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Kerala\u00a0Chief Minister\u00a0Pinarayi Vijayan\u00a0and several leaders of the DMK.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DMK president MK Stalin on Sunday proposed the name of Congress President Rahul Gandhi for the post of Prime Minister.
