Uttar Pradesh Police named 27 people in the FIR, including Yogesh Raj, convener of the district unit of Bajrang Dal; Shikhar Agarwal, Bulandshahr city president; Raj Kumar, former pradhan of Mahav village and 24 others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">UP Police also named 50-60 unidentified persons in the FIR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to reports, the development comes after an application was submitted by the investigators before the chief judicial magistrate court in Bulandshahr, arguing that the absconding accused were trying to influence the probe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The application reads, \u201cThe accused are trying to spoil communal harmony by making videos of the incident viral and attempting to influence evidence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On December 3, Inspector Subodh Singh Kumar and a local named Sumit were killed in the mob violence, which erupted after the carcasses of 25 cattle were found in the forests close to the police post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the police, five more arrests were made in connection to Singh&#8217;s death, taking the number of arrested persons to nine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The five people, who were arrested, were identified as Sonu, Chandra, Rohit, Nitin and Jitendra but their names were not recorded in the FIR lodged in connection with the violence.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A local court on December 13 issued a non-bailable warrant against all named accused in the Bulandshahr mob violence case.
