Area is under cordon. Details will follow.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Brath Kalan area of Sopore following inputs about the presence of militants there, a police official said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Terrorists later opened fire at the security forces, leading to an encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">No casualties have been reported so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Jammu and Kashmir police recently tweeted, \u201c#Sopore encounter update: 02 #terrorists killed. #Arms &amp; ammunitions recovered.
