However, the work started only in 2002.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As per the reports, the project has missed several deadlines, it was supposed to be completed in June 2017 but got delayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The project also includes the construction of a trans-Arunachal highway on the north bank of the Brahmaputra and new road and rail links over the mighty river and its major tributaries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The bridge will also decrease the journey time from Guwahati to Delhi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister\u00a0Narendra Modi\u00a0will on December 25, inaugurate the Bogibeel Bridge, India&#8217;s longest rail-cum-road bridge, connecting Dibrugarh in Assam to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, a senior railway\u00a0official\u00a0said.
