The fire was brought under control after a few hours of firefighting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">While no casualties have been reported so far in the mishap, at least six huts were completely gutted by the time the fire was brought under control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The incident comes days after a massive blaze destroyed more than 50 shanties in\u00a0Nargis Dutt Nagar slums at Bandra Reclamation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 12 fire tenders were pressed into service to control the fire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Mumbai has witnessed over 48,000 fire-related incidents in the last 10 years, a Right to Information (RTI) response has revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fire broke out on Thursday midnight in a slum at Shastri Nagar in Bandra East area in Mumbai.
