The gate was closed and they were trying to cross from beneath it. All the injured are being treated at Civil Hospital Ghaziabad,&#8221; Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Kumar added, &#8220;They failed to cross over as swiftly as they expected and instead were hit by the train.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The three other injured persons have been admitted to Ghaziabad&#8217;s MMG Civil Hospital for medical treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Between September 2017 and August 2018, there have been five accidents at manned level crossings which have led to six deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One person was killed and three others were injured on October 16 when they were hit by Dankor-Shakur Basti passenger train at gate no 153A while crossing the railway tracks in Ghaziabad.
