It is the responsibility of the government to implement the verdict of the Supreme Court. It is not the policy of the government to fight with believers. Their interest will be protected and the government is ready for discussion,&#8221; Vijayan said at the press conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Meanwhile, the representatives of the Sabarimala temple&#8217;s chief priest\u00a0are skipping an important meeting called by CM Vijayan on Monday to discuss the September 28 verdict as protests against the verdict continued in several parts of Kerala.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A five-judge constitution bench headed by then Chief Justice Dipak Misra had said that banning the entry of women into the shrine is gender discrimination and that the practice violated rights of Hindu women.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court on Monday seeking review of the Constitution bench judgment which allowed the entry of women inside the Sabarimala Temple in Kerala.
