Whereas, Santosh Kumar Singh is convicted for the murder of law student Priyadarshini Mattoo in 1996 and Sushil Sharma is convicted for the murder of his wife in 1995.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Delhi Sentence Review Board, which is headed by Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain, reviewed the applications of the three convicted criminals and rejected them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">However, Jessica&#8217;s sister Sabrina has said that she has forgiven Manu Sharma and has no objections\u00a0on his early release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The death sentence of Santosh Kumar Singh convicted for the rape and murder of Priyadarshini Mattoo was also commuted to life sentence by the apex court, few years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Sushil, a former Youth Congress leader, had initially been awarded the death penalty.
