The deceased got scared following the firing and rammed the SUV into the pillar of an underpass. He suffered injuries in the accident and was taken to a local hospital by the police but died during treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As per the police, when the constable at Gomti Nagar extension\u00a0signalled\u00a0Tiwari to stop for checking, he tried to flee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A post-mortem is being conducted to know whether Vivek Tiwari died of bullet injury or injuries sustained after his vehicle hit the pillar, the official said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Meanwhile, the accused constable has been arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Further investigations are underway.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Uttar\u00a0Pradesh constable was arrested on Saturday and booked for murder after he shot an Apple executive.
