External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met several of her foreign counterparts from across the globe in a whirlwind of bilateral interactions.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday, Swaraj attended the high-level event on counter-narcotics convened by US President Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swaraj spoke at the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit and said, \u201cNelson Mandela\u2019s life is an inspiration for all. He showed fearlessness and courage in the face of discrimination and adversity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sushma Swaraj met the Foreign Ministers of Spain, Australia, Ecuador, Colombia, Mongolia, Nepal, Lichtenstein, Morocco and Federica Mogherini, the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs on the sidelines of the high-level session of the 73rd UN General Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n

External Affairs Minister spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted, “Relations characterised by warmth and cordiality! EAM @SushmaSwaraj and Foreign Minister of Colombia, @CarlosHolmesTru met on the sidelines of #UNGA2018. Discussed cooperation on trade & investment, pharma, mining, petroleum and capacity building,\u201d Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n

In another tweet he said, Swaraj and Amores discussed ways to further consolidate bilateral relationship in the areas of trade, agriculture, pharma, IT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swaraj met Borrellf and discussed the ways to intensify ties in investment, renewable energy, water treatment and tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n
