Adding to it, Chakraborty said, in the last 6 months the police confiscated over 50,000 kg of narcotics including brown sugar, cannabis, heroin etc and arrested more than 200 drug peddlers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Drug eradication was one of the agendas on which Deb had based his election campaign against the former CPI(M)-led Left government in the state.
