The\u00a0pilot was able to safely eject from the jet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThe MiG 27 crashed during a routine mission\u00a0and a Court of Inquiry will be set up to investigate the cause of the crash.\u201d the Indian Air Force said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The pilot was rushed to the hospital in an air ambulance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Deputy Commissioner, Jodhpur, said no loss of life has been reported in the crash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Police officials have reached the spot and cordoned off the area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Many locals were gathered around the crash site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The aircraft had taken off from the Indian Air Force&#8217;s Jodhpur Rajasthan airbase.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Indian Air Force MiG 27 fighter jet crashed on Tuesday in a field near Jodhpur\u2019s\u00a0Banad area.
