The bridge has been temporally closed as the water level in the Yamuna river has reached 205.53 <\/span>meters<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> with the danger mark being 204.83.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cAt 12.20am, the old Yamuna Bridge temporary closed for rail traffic as <\/span>the water<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> level has reached <\/span>205.53-meter<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> mark,\u201d a Northern Railway official reportedly said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Officials confirmed that a flood control room and <\/span>around-the-clock<span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"> emergency operation center have been set up to monitor Yamuna&#8217;s situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Yamuna&#8217;s water level continues to rise as Haryana released more water from the Hathini Kund Bairaj.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Near about 3,000 people were evacuated from low-lying areas of Delhi near the river bank to makeshift camps as the water level in the river continued to rise on 29 July, reaching its highest level in the last five years a day after breaching the danger mark, government officials said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Delhi&#8217;s deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also visited the site and took stock of the ongoing rescue operations.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian Railways on July 30 announced that 27 trains have been canceled and seven others have been diverted after the Railway&#8217;s temporary closed the Delhi\u2019s old Yamuna bridge, also called as Loha Pul.
