Maratha protesters are seeking 16% reservation in Government jobs and education in Maharashtra and are also agitating against the death of a Maratha youth in Aurangabad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tight Security arrangements are in place in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis appealed for peace and assured that the government is serious about a resolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Tuesday, one constable died and nine other policemen were injured during a large scale state-wide protest in Maharashtra, marred by violence.
