Then the HC has further listed the matter for July 16.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1762181598\"><span class=\"aQJ\">May 18<\/span><\/span>, the HC also issued a notice to Google, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites after their Indian subsidiaries informed the court that they are not concerned entity to reply to court&#8217;s notice on disclosing the identity of Kathua rape victim.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On the similar grounds, the court had earlier slapped a fine of Rs. 10 lakhs on each media house. The court had further warned that anyone disclosing rape victim&#8217;s identity can be imprisoned for six-month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">An 8-year old girl was abducted, raped and murdered in Rasana village near Kathua in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in January 2018.
