Kiran Kumar Reddy returned to the Congress on Friday after meeting its President, Rahul Gandhi at his residence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He has returned to the party after a gap of four years, the reason for his resignation was the protest against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He rejoined the party in presence of former Kerala CM and AICC Andhra Pradesh in-charge Oommen Chandy, APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy and party leader Randeep Singh Surjewala.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cReddy\u2019s return will strengthen the Congress in Andhra Pradesh,\u201d said by AICC Andhra Pradesh in-charge Oommen Chandy<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The former Chief Minister said &#8220;unless there is a Congress government in Delhi, the Andhra Pradesh [Reorganization] Act cannot be implemented\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The party tweeted today, \u201cWe welcome Ex CM of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Kiran Kumar Reddy back into the Congress party.
