School authorities of a girls school in Old Delhi\u2019s Hauz Qazi area, detained students\u00a0on Monday<\/span><\/span> afternoon for a delay in the payment of the tuition fees by their parents.<\/span><\/div>\n

Sixteen school girls of Rabea Girls Public School were detained on Monday<\/span><\/span> by the school authorities for not paying the school fees.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The parents have claimed that they have paid the fees, also if there was any delay in paying the fees, school authorities should not have treated their wards in such a way, parents of a student said.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
According to the police, the incident came into light, when one of the parent went to pick his daughter from the school and was not able to find her.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

‘We asked the school staff who then informed us that the children have been kept in the basement since 7 am<\/span><\/span> and the door was latched from outside. We opened the door and saw the children on the floor. The room was hot and had only two fans. Most of the children were thirsty and hungry,\u201d said the parents.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

However post the incident many kids are not willing to go to the school.<\/span><\/div>\n
