Women, children and employees of the ministry were among the casualties, according to Najib Danish, spokesman for the interior ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Bomb blast took place when employees were gathered at a compound and were waiting for a bus&#8221; Rural Ministry spokesman Faridoon Azhand revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;The attacker had targeted the employees as they waited for the bus at around\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2016858400\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(0830 GMT),&#8221; Police spokesman Hashmat Stanikzai<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Islamic State group has claimed the responsibility for the attack in Kabul. The attack comes in the wake of government announcement of ceasefire with the Taliban that is due to run for three days during the Eid al-Fitr later this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This was Taliban&#8217;s first ceasefire since the government toppled by the 2001 US-led invasion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Most of my colleagues were leaving for the day to go home. I am worried about my colleagues.
