{"id":285105,"date":"2018-02-08T14:34:27","date_gmt":"2018-02-08T09:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tehelka.com\/?p=285105"},"modified":"2018-02-08T14:34:27","modified_gmt":"2018-02-08T09:04:27","slug":"adhyatmiks-godman-asked-to-let-parents-meet-inmates-and-remove-viswavidyalaya-tag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/adhyatmiks-godman-asked-to-let-parents-meet-inmates-and-remove-viswavidyalaya-tag\/","title":{"rendered":"Adhyatmik&#039;s godman asked to let parents meet inmates and remove ViswaVidyalaya tag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bIn a case related to the \u200bbogus \u200bgodman Virender Dev Dixit case, the \u200bDelhi High \u200bCourt on February 8 has given order to \u200bDixit and his ashram to allow \u200bthe \u200bparents to meet the\u200bir girls and women \u200billegally confined in all\u200b the centers.<br \/>\nThe meeting should be facilitated with the permission from SHOs of the concerned areas, the court has directed.<br \/>\n\u200b<br \/>\n\u200bThe Acting Chief Justice, Geeta Mittal also directed the ashram to &#8220;prohibit from using the expression \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bViswaVidyalaya in the \u200b\u200binstitution&#8217;s name&#8221; in any manner as it doesn&#8217;t comply with the \u200bnorms of UGC Act 1956.<br \/>\nThe UGC, in its letter to the ashram, had objected the use of  \u200b&#8221;ViswaVidyalaya&#8221; in \u200bAdhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya on January 29. \u200b<br \/>\n&#8220;The institute has been propagating itself as a \u200bViswaVidyalaya, attracting large number of people.
