Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday asked Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath to take immediate action in the case in which a priest was shot at in Gonda.
Taking to the microblogging site, Ashok Gehlot said, “We had an incident in Rajasthan in which the police showed promptness and immediately arrested the main criminal, the UP government should also take immediate action in the incident in which a priest was shot at in Gonda (Uttar Pradesh).”
Gehlot’s comment comes after BJP continuously slammed Rajasthan government over the incident in which a temple priest was burnt alive in state’s Karauli district.
In the incident of Gonda, a priest was allegedly attacked and killed on October 10 while he was asleep. According to police, the priest had a land dispute with the accused.
