Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Rafale and accused PM Modi of running “parallel negotiations” with the French side.
“For more than a year, we’ve been saying that PM is directly involved in Rafale scam. Today it is clear that PM himself had been carrying out a parallel negotiation,” Gandhi said at a press briefing in New Delhi.
Rahul said, we have been saying that there should be an inquiry through JPC. Now Ministry itself has said, “we may advise PMO that any Officers who are not part of Indian Negotiating Team may refrain from having parallel parlays”
On his meeting with Goa chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Rahul said, “I met Manohar Parrikar ji, but there was no discussion on Rafale. It was just a courtesy visit to inquire about his health.”
On being asked about the PM’s yesterday remarks that the thief is scolding the watchman Rahul said, “So is the PM suffering from dual personality he is thief one day and watchman another day…is he schizophrenic?”
