Raghav Chadha, three other AAP MLAs detained by Delhi Police

Delhi Police on Sunday detained Aam Admi Party (AAP) MLAs Raghav Chadha, Ritu Raj, Kuldeep Kumar and Sanjeev Jha who were on their way to the Home Minister Amit Shah’s residence to hold a protest demonstration.

Sharing the images of their detention, AAP in a tweet said, “After MLA @MLARituraj and MLAs @raghav_chadha, @KuldeepKumarAAP and @Sanjeev_aap have also been arrested by Delhi police for a peaceful protest against misappropriation of Rs. 2457 cr in BJP-led MCD. Amit Shah and his police can put us in jail, but they can’t suppress our will.”

Earlier, Delhi Police rejected Raghav Chadha’s request for permission to hold a demonstration outside Amit Shah’s residence today against alleged misappropriation of funds by NDMC, saying “Any type of gathering is not allowed outside the residence of Home Minister.”
