Priyanka Gandhi slams Yogi Adityanath over incidents of crime against women in Uttar Pradesh

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday slammed Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh (UP) government, saying that CM has no time to do a special session on women security but has time for photo sessions.

Sharing the information on the incidents of crime against women in the state, Priyanka said, “In the last one week, 13 horrific incidents of crime against women have happened in UP. According to reports, in 4 incidents the victim was killed or the victims committed suicide.”

“Condition of female security really hurts. CM Sahab has no time to do a special session on this, yes the photo session is on,” Priyanka added.

Earlier on October 12, Priyanka had said that women will have to take the responsibility of their own women safety “Crimes against women are increasing. But, instead of listening to the truth and voice of the oppressed women, it is the most shameful and cowardly act to discredit them. But the women of the country will no longer remain silent. If one sister is convicted, then millions of sisters will raise their voice and stand with them. We are taking our responsibility ourselves. Now only women will have to take the responsibility of women safety.”
