President Trump to temporarily suspend immigration into US amid coronavirus pandemic

The United States will temporarily suspend immigration amid rising number of coronavirus cases, President Donald Trump has said.

Trump said he will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the US.

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” Trump tweeted.

The US has reported the maximum number of COVID-19 cases.

More than 7,80,000 have been infected from virus and over 42,000 have lost their lives in the US.
