New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan has intensified speculation about a possible reshuffle and expansion of the Union Council of Ministers. The meeting, held shortly after the Padma Awards investiture ceremony, comes amid growing political chatter over changes in the Modi government.
The speculation has gained further momentum following the resignation of Union Minister of State George Kurian from the Council of Ministers after the expiry of his Rajya Sabha term. Political observers believe his exit could pave the way for a broader Cabinet rejig in the coming days.
