Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, sources said.
The meeting came just two days after both world leaders addressed a mega ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston.
The meeting between both the leaders is scheduled in the afternoon, sources added.
On Sunday, PM Modi addressed a massive gathering of nearly 50,000 Indian Americans at the mega ‘Howdy, Modi’ event in Houston, which was also attended by US President Donald Trump.
Modi had also endorsed President Trump for a second term, saying ‘Abki Baar Trump Sarkar‘.
PM Modi hailed Trump saying he admires him for his “sense of leadership, a concern for every American and a strong resolve to make America great again”.
