Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turns 69 today met his mother Heeraben at her residence in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar and sought her blessings.
PM Modi then had a birthday lunch with his mother.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi visited the Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam in Kevadia of Narmada district. He landed in Gujarat on Monday night and flew from Gandhinagar to Kevadia today morning.
PM Modi earlier in a tweet said. “Reached Kevadia a short while ago. Have a look at the majestic ‘Statue of Unity’, India’s tribute to the great Sardar Patel.”
