Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated ISRO team on yet another successful launch of PSLV-C47 carrying indigenous Cartosat-3 satellite and over a dozen nano satellites of USA.
“I heartily congratulate the entire @isro team on yet another successful launch of PSLV-C47 carrying indigenous Cartosat-3 satellite and over a dozen nano satellites of USA,” PM Modi tweeted.
“The advanced Cartosat-3 will augment our high resolution imaging capability. ISRO has once again made the nation proud!,” PM Modi added.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) today launched advanced earth imaging and mapping satellite CARTOSAT-3 along with 13 other commercial nano-satellites from Sriharikota.
“#PSLV-C47 carrying Cartosat-3 and 13 USA nanosatellites lifts off from Sriharikota,” ISRO tweeted.
CARTOSAT-3, ninth in the series, was launched from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota at the scheduled time of 9.28 am.
ISRO chief K Sivan expressed happiness on the successful launch of PSLV-C47 that injected precisely in the orbit with 13 other satellites.
