Pakistan violates ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district

Pakistan on Friday violated ceasefire in Mankote sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, Pakistan initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along the LoC in Mankote sector at around 5.15 am today. Indian Army retaliated befittingly.

Since the beginning of this year, Pakistan has committed nearly 3,200 such ceasefire violations in which 24 civilians have been killed and over 100 injured.
