Over 70 shops gutted in fire in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Over 70 shops were gutted after a massive fire that broke out on late Sunday night in a vegetable market of Sambalpur town in Odisha.

The incident was reported from Golabazaar vegetable market.

Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

The blaze was later controlled by firemen.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a diya lighted near a shop on the occasion of Diwali.

No casualties were reported in the incident. However, the fruits and vegetables in the market have been burnt completely.
