India on Saturday recorded 65,002 cases and 996 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 25,26,193, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 18,08,937 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 6,68,220 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients stands at 71.17%.
A total of 49,036 coronavirus patients have lost their lives.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Saturday said a total of 2,85,63,095 samples have been tested up to August 14 of which 8,68,679 samples were tested yesterday.
