Five people were killed and one person critically injured when the car they were travelling in hit a stationary truck from behind in Odisha’s Kendrapara district early Monday.
As per the reports, all six people were the members of Dance Troupe and they were returning to Kendrapara from Panikoili in Jajpur district.
The incident took place at around 2 am when their car hit the truck parked on the roadside near Alabanka square.
The police were immediately rushed to the spot and the injured was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
A case has been registered and investigation into the matter is underway.
