Navjot Singh Sidhu damages his vocal cords due to continuous speech in political rallies

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sindhu has damaged his vocal cords because of continuous speech in political rallies.

Sidhu addressed 80 political rallies across the country in 28 days as part of the poll campaign for the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections.

As per the statement issued by Sidhu’s office, the Congress leader has damaged his vocal cords because of the continuous speaking and that they have bled at times.

He has been prescribed steroids and anti-inflammatory injections to help recover, his office added.

According to the statement, Sidhu is under the medication and in process of a quick recovery to return to campaigning from May 14.
